Bee Sober – Plans for COA Week 2022

Bee Sober is a non-profit Community Interest Company working with individuals and organisations to transform their mindset around alcohol and remove the stigma associated with sobriety.

Bee Sober was founded by Alex, Lisa and Jo after each decided to quit drinking to improve their own wellbeing, mental health, physical health and lives in general. Together they have formed an amazing community of like-minded people from all over the world and supported them with getting and staying sober through online lounges, meet-ups, group coaching and The Sober Experiment®, a 30-day course for those who want to give sobriety a try.

Bee Sober has an amazing team of trained Bee Sober Social Ambassadors dotted about all over the country and in Australia holding social events in their home cities and offering support and friendship to everyone who wants to live a fulfilling sober lifestyle. The Bee Sober ethos is based around the belief that you don’t have to be an alcoholic to want to live a sober lifestyle and they support everyone to achieve this lifestyle if they wish.

Since deciding to go sober, Alex and Lisa have wanted to be involved in the work Nacoa does and are both now trained as volunteers. Alex’s childhood experiences mean that Nacoa holds a special place in her heart. Lisa has seen first-hand the consequences of a partner’s alcohol abuse and the effects this had on her own children.

During COA week we are holding the following events to help raise awareness of this amazing charity.
